In the past 6 years Snedeker has finished 2nd or better 4 times. I would say he is a solid bet for favorite.

Sleeper: DeChambaw 400 to 1

Agree with you for sure that Sneds is a great bet here.

Other guys I like are Walker, Stallings, and JB. My official prediction though is...

No, I would have gone with Harold Varner III if that was my intention.

Especially with Tiger announcing he's joining Taylor Made. Great advertising for them.

8 wins and 4 top 5 finishes at Torrey Pines

That said, Snedeker has pretty much owned the Farmers Insurance Open since '10, so this is his to lose.

Varner, 2 under thru 2. Should have picked him instead

Just included the PGATour live link in the OP. Well worth it for those interested in watching early. Such a well spent $40 for an entire year worth of great golf.

Is he playing decent or are we taking the unofficial guided tour of Torrey Pines?

His irons are off. He's setting up for a fade and been trying to hit a draw. Most of his irons have been flares to the right.

Putting looks good along with his chipping.

His driving has been ok.

Irons and everything off the tee are late, and therefore to the right. Alignment looks a little off (aimed way left) again and I think that is having a negative impact on his swing right now. Maybe that's what he's going for though.

Short game looks awesome so far.

I really don't know what Tiger did between the Hero Challenge and now, but it looks worse.

I wish he would just stick to something and roll with it.

Also he looks so damn stiff with his rotation(what little there is)

It's hard to say if the surgeries limited him to this type of swing or he's just afraid to let loose.
