Have to get a win this week to make the playoffs:
Boldin
Kevin Walter
Ted Ginn Jr
Chris Chambers
Justin Gage
Steve Breaston
Need to pick 3. Obviously Boldin, so what are the other 2 suggestions? Right now I'm going with Kevin Walter and Ted Ginn Jr. Ginn should get a lot of looks with Camarillo out for the year. I love Gage against Detroit, but I already have Chris Johnson and Bironas going in that game. I hate to put so much stock into one game today.
Running backs:
Tomlinson
Chris Johnson
Warrick Dunn
Steve Slaton
Leaning towards Tomlinson and obviously Chris Johnson vs. the putrid Detroit run defense. Thoughts?

Better than LT?

quote:Wow, that is a tough one. I just don't know, I would like to think LT would have a field day, but with the way Slaton has been running the ball and Green being out, it makes it really tough for me to decide. Also, Slaton will have an extra day to rest. I wish I could be more definitive for you on this one. Ah hell, stick with LT

Thinkin' of sitting Winslow(disappointment season) to start either Gage or M. Bradley. Or start my other TE J. Stevens(Tampa). Any suggestions?
Posted on 11/27/08 at 9:56 am to VooDoo1321
I probably will. Like I said in a previous post in this thread, even as disappointing as LT has been this season it is still so hard to leave him out. I'm hoping Chris Johnson, Boldin, and Romo do enough for me today that I won't have to worry about Tomlinson on Sunday.

Need some help here: Jeff Garcia or Chad Pennington, leaning towards Garcia b/c Miami may blow out St. Louis and Garcia may be in a shootout.
I need to pick a wide receiver: Derrick Mason or Chris Chambers, leaning towards Mason he's been consistent all year.
Thanks

Another disappointing player on my team. I traded Larry Johnson for him earlier in the season when he started out on his touchdown binge. He just can't seem to get it together after that injury.

EDIT: I made the trade before the season even started

Jason Campbell or Kerry Collins
Campbell is my usual starter, and gets me a nice mix with Santana Moss.
But going against the Giants D i am not expecting him to light up the night.
Collins was on waivers against the Lions, so I nabbed him to think about things.
Thoughts?
Line Up in case you need to reference:
Me:
QB: Campbell / Collins ??
HB: Jacobs or Ward (health of Jacobs)
HB: Dunn
WR: Marshall
WR: S. Moss
WR: R. Moss
TE: Gonzales
DEF: Giants
K: Carney
Opponent:
QB: Rodgers
HB: Addai
HB: Rice
WR: Desean Jackson
WR: Jennings
WR: Calvin Johnson
TE: Dustin Keller
DEF: Dolphins
K: Longwell

I think I might pick up Ginn for this week over Gage, Bradley, & Winslow. Whatcha think? I think it a good matchup. also Steelers D(vs Pats) or Redskins D(Giants)? I still think Steelers D will kick arse! thoughts?

quote:I think that if Collins and Dunn have decent days, you should be ok, BUT I would almost hope that Jacobs does not play (I know it sounds stupid),but then you would be assured most of the carries + the flat and middle passes to D Ward.

as a #3 wr:
Kevin Curtis vs. Ari (weak pass D)
Isaac Bruce vs. Buf
Mark Bradley vs. Oak (hopefully Asomugha covers Bowe)
Burress vs. Was (Burress so inconsistent)

I would lean toward Bruce just because they look for him in the red zone so often plus he had a great week last week.
