Hey, Voo Doo. I've been working a bunch. Also had to deal with a "commissioner's committee" issue this week. The Commissioner changed his line up after a game started. There was an appeal. It was ugly, but we got it straightened out.

So anyway, I got so lucky yesterday. My opponent had Westbrook and didn't start him!

Wow, I have never had that happen, but I could imagine it was pretty crazy.

ok, every time I think I have my lineup set, I change my mind. I need one more opinion on this one.

QB's(pick 1)
Thigpen @ Oakland
Favre vs Denver
A Rodgers vs Carolina
Cutler @ Jets

RB's (pick 3)
S Slaton vs Jax
A Peterson vs Chicago
T Jones vs Denver
M Turner @ San Diego
M Forte @ Min

WR's (pick 2)
A Johnson vs Jax
T Ginn Jr @ StL
M Colston @ Tampa
B Stokley @ Jets

This is actually a tough decision. My initial reaction was Rodgers, but I'm probably putting too much emphasis on last week. I was also thinking that his recent running adds a nice avenue for additional points.

But most are touting Thigpen this week. I would be weary there. When a sucky team faces a sucky team, you never really know who's going to suck more. Oakland might be struggling on offense, but they have a decent D. KC on the other hand has no D. Too bad Thigpen can't face his own D this week.

And then there's Favre. Denver's D hasn't impressed me much this year. But the Jets are finding non-Favre related ways to win. You know my anti-Favre bias anyway. I can't really endorse him. Enough said.

I have been a Cutler fan for most of the season, but he's really struggling lately.

On balance, I think Thigpen may be the best option. It's just hard to ignore is average over the last five games.

You have to go with Peterson. No need to discuss it. You've got to go with Jones the way he's been playing. I would also go with Turner because Forte and Slaton probably aren't the best options this week. The Vikes aren't allowing yards on the ground, and Slaton is coming off an injury and facing a pretty stiff D.

You should start Andre no matter what. Besides that, your guess is as good as mine. I doubt Stokely will put up the best numbers unless Royal is completely out. Ginn might be a nice option just because the Rams suck. Colston is banished to my bench until further notice. Worst pick I've ever made for a #1 WR. He may pay off big, but it may be slim pickins as well.

Good luck.

Yeah, it is the one giving me the most trouble. I have been teetering between Favre and Cutler, but then again, Thigpen could put up some numbers.

Was my first reaction as well

agree 100%

I have sat him twice this year and of course they were his best two games and I don't want to curse myself again by benching him

very true

agree without a doubt.

Yeah, my only fear is that Washington will get more carries this week.

yes, it is very hard to sit Turner (especially since I sat him last week)

no doubt

I am mainly debating over Colston or Ginn. I want to go with Ginn, but as often as the Saints throw the ball, I keep thinking "this will be the week" for him.

Thanks, good luck to you as well.

Voo Doo, how many teams do you have?

My personal opinion is that Addai is a good play. I hate that Rhodes seems to be getting more and more touches every week, but I think that's a function of a struggling offense more than anything to do with Addai. The Browns are giving up more yards on the ground than 27 other teams. I like those odds. Plus, you've got to think that the Colts will get up early and then use Addai to run clock.

Dunn is not a bad play either, but I have worry that the Saints will score a bunch of points and that Garcia will shift to passing mode early. Then there's the issue of whether Cadillac will get an increased role.

Who knows what Moore will do? What's the status on Parker? Also, of the three guys, the Pats definitely have the stiffest run D.

P.S. to my earlier post. I was just checking out the cbs guru and he has Peterson as the top projected RB and Jones as #2. Turner is behind Slaton is his picks, but Forte is was down the list.

I also check kffl, which I consider a more reliable source. kffl says Jones is a "strong play" and his him at the top of the board. Turner is at 4th and Peterson is at 5th. Sounds like those guys should all three have good weeks.

Quite a statement from a guy who has more than 5800 posts in a year and doesn't know grammar. It is my sincere hope that you do not have a degree from LSU. I would hate to think that you're out there embarrassing my alma mater with such elementary mistakes.

I have 3 pro (one from work, one for $ and my recreational one that I play every year) and 1 college (which I ended up winning)

yeah, that is who I am leaning toward, but Dunn keeps popping in my mind this week.

from ESPN:
Parker (knee) practiced for the second straight day on Friday, but he's officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

yeah, I have Peterson and Jones and Slaton or Turner as my 3rd right now, but cannot decide on the 3rd

Unless John Clayton says that Parker won't play, I'd sit Moore. Moore isn't anywhere near as valuable as Parker. The Steelers will go with Willie if he can go.
