The videos I've seen have people mocking and making statements toward the people praying. If you cant respect someone's right to private prayer, your really too far gone.

I respect anybody's rights to do anything they want to do as long as it doesn't infringe on my rights. I can also make fun of their stupid prayers if I feel so inclined.

is your entire personality attempting to be an edgy douche or is there more behind the veil?

You absolutely can, but would you mind explaining why they’re stupid? I just need you to go ahead and confirm my previous point.

Can you show with proof how they're in any way helpful?

Those first responders man. Regardless of if he makes it, they were out there quick and managed to give him a fighting chance. That's amazing. Cashiers take longer to count back change than those professionals took to help save a life.

You just explained the faith requirement.

As for your question, faith operates outside of proof by definition.

Figured that's where you'd go.

Same old cop out.

I don’t understand how that’s a cop out. I believe that a person can be so pragmatic that the concept of faith eludes them completely.

I’m done now. This thread may get whacked now, anyway. My apologies if it does.
