Looks like the legislative committee just approved 50% capacity for all fall sports in Gyms and stadiums.

I wonder how they judge capacity at hs stadiums with tons of open space aside from small bleachers.

I would guess it will be a situation such that if everyone just spreads out and not make it look densely packed, it will be fine.

You get called out when it was like that Alabama high school game when they were all packed together in the stands

The biggest pain in the arse is gonna be every hs has 1-2 openings right next to each other that are two feet wide to get into games with clueless volunteer parents at the gate. There's going to be lines into the next city if they're adding distancing and temp checks to cash collection

Problem is a lot of football stadiums are not very big
Parents will take up a good bit and you have to let sr students go.

Youth sports have played through the pandemic
Travel ball started back up in June and hasn't stopped

No football program is turning people away from the games. The 50% capacity is just a farce

All of a dog and pony show because they know we'll go to phase 3 on 9/11. The saints play on 9/13, and JBE wasn't going to cancel that game.

JBE and lhsaa can all eat a cock

It's going to go by stadium capacity ratings.

It won't be an issue outside of large private/community schools

This is from Cauble. Only thing I've seen about scrimmages and jamboree being allowed

Eddie Bonnie says contact practices could begin as early as next week, on time for scrimmages and jamborees as well. #lhsaa LINK
