Yep.

$7.3 million for scuttling away from a child being raped and reporting it to a fricking football coach.

The fact he felt the need to tell Paterno and not the police just tells me he was part of the protectionist mindset too.

He's a piece of shite and if I were him I couldn't live with myself.

He witnessed a child being fricked, and didn't call the cops.

He deserves to die.

Didn't he inform the VP who oversaw the police dept?
Look, I dont want to pile on the guy, but point blank he fricked up bigtime. He saw another man arse rape a little boy, and then continued to see said man around campus and in the locker room area for the remaining time he was a coach. I dont care if he told the president, the fact that he was willing to stay around shows me his moral compass was broken or paid off

And if they dont, you call the state police and quit your position as coach. You dont keep showing up to work everyday at a place that is harboring a man that you saw arse rape a boy. That is all kinds of fricked up.

If my co worker arse rapes a boy, and I tell the cops, and they do nothing, you can guarantee I am not continuing to work here while they let him hang around

A lot of tough talk in this thread by people who would probably have done the same thing McQueary did.

He deserves the $$ because he will never be able to coach again in his career, and he's still a young guy.

Yeh I am not saying he should have barged in and killed Sandusky, but simply quitting a job in which you employer harbors a child rapist isn’t asking much

This is a great reason not to call cops after witnessing a rape.

fricking Christ.

Turning around and walking away after seeing a grown man rape a prepubescent boy? Not even calling the police?

Even dudes who don't lift would have done something to save the kid.

Are you implying no one should go to the cops to report a crime because they don't always get it right? Because if you're not, you sure went about this post the wrong way. Which actually isn't shocking coming from you.

Yep. I have no sympathy for what happened to him. Had he simply gone to the police instead of sitting on what he saw for a day and then going to Paterno, none of the bad things that befell his life in 2011-12 ever happen.

This is where I fault him big time. Like I said many people considered Paterno above the cops so I can see his point of view; he probably thought he was telling the law when he went to Paterno.

It wouldn't surprise me if the cops knew about what was going on. Paterno certainly did, he was warned of this in 1976 and he said he didn't have time for that shite, he had games to win.

Most here would have gone to the state police or the freaking FBI if they had to if no one at that hell hole wouldn't listen.

This has been proven to be sketchy at best. Even the accuser's attorney says there is no proof that his client or anyone related to him informed Paterno of Sandusky's practices that early on.
