It wouldn't matter. Individual voters will still likely have their own ballots beginning in preseason, and voters would still use stuff like cfn, Steele, and other preseason magazines and just shuffle based on record.
Look at the Harris Poll now. It starts in (I think) week 4, and yet it's nearly identical to the AP/Coaches.
