Source: ESPN readying new hit piece on Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and Robert Kraft set to publish tomorrow morning at 8am. The topic will be a power struggle among the trio as to who deserves the most credit for the dynasty.

The article claims that the rift is so severe many Patriots feel this is the last year together for the trio. Also that Brady went to Kraft to force Belichick to trade Jimmy G. ESPN is planning a full day of promotion tomorrow for the article and its author @SethWickersham

I would love nothing better than to see the Pats organization implode. Power breeds arrogance, and arrogant power people eventually consume each other.

ESPN is such hack journalism at this point.
They just know they'll have nothing to talk about when the Pats run through the playoffs again, so they're making up a storyline now.

Yea this drops right before the playoffs.

Except that other outlets are also reporting the same thing. Your anti-ESPN virus is so strong

Isn’t Friday the worst day to drop a juicy story?

Belichick and Brady just go out of their way to get recognition.

I would love to read something good that destroys the Patriots but this seems like warmed over, twice baked bullshite.
Kraft is the owner so he gets his due credit as the guy that was smart enough to hire Belichick and get out of his way. Kraft never pretended to scout players or design plays.
Even if there is a Belichick versus Brady struggle (and I doubt it), that will sort itself out in due time because Belichick can coach for the next decade plus so he has plenty of time to show everybody how he can consistently do without Brady.
This seems like a story for 2020 or 2021 when Brady would still want to play but would probably be holding the Patriots back.

That team wouldn't be humming along like it is if there were that many problems there

Whatever the spread is next week, I'm loading up on the Pats. They'll come out swinging just as a big eff you to ESPN and the globe

So Tom Brady in the middle of a season at which point he had a 22-2 td to int ratio, went to kraft and said force belichick to trade jimmy g?
Fact is pats were not gonna pay jimmy $24 mil in a franchise tag and there was no way they could have gotten rid of brady with his level of play at the time. So it was either let him walk for nothing or get something in exchange and atleast help him out by sending him somewhere with a good coach/gm

I could easily see Jimmy G come back to the Pats after a franchise tag or two.

Brady is awesome, but it isn’t like he doesn’t have peers. He was not carrying shite to the Super Bowl all those times.
It is definitely Belichik.

This story seems like a huge reach. Like I don't buy a word of it
ETA: I don't think Brady and Bill are best friends or anything but the problems being that bad is a huge stretch
