the dude had a triple double. That's not cherry picking anything. It would have been more weird for me to NOT acknowledge it.

You know why he can't stay on the court to close the game. A problem he has that Horford doesn't.

His rim defense is impressive. Horford isn't a great rim defender but he really should be playing power forward anyway, but he isn't. In the light give me a good passer who can stretch the floor, shoot free throws, and rebound average over a guy who can't shoot, can't pass, but is a great rebounder and defender. It really just comes down to the construct of the team. Horford is more successful at what the Hawks want to do than Whiteside would be. I like the things Horford gives me more than Whiteside. You clearly don't. It's ok and you don't have to call me mean names.

He was on the court at the end of the game. Not sure what you are talking about

He shoots 10x a game and makes 7 of them.

yea because they have a 6'9" C and a 6'7" PF. Of course they want to play like that. It doesnt mean Horford is a better player.

He's referring to the 4 minute mark to 2 minute mark stretch where Whiteside sat.

The typical stretch where you see guys like Deandre, Drummond, Dwight, etc sit due to the hack-a-shaq loophople.

You could have that group and your fanbase would still say you were losing because the Norris Coles and Pondexters of the league were hurt.

Yea but at least we aren't getting the doors blown off of us with a full roster like the rockets are.

You know, you're right.

I am proud to have a team that's not filled with a bunch of followers who lack the chest to step up and lead.

Full roster? HOU has 2 of their starters from last year out. Dwight has missed almost half of the games, and Jones has too. HOU isn't using injuries as an excuse, neither does the front office. It's not even a month into the season and the playoffs don't start for 5 months. What has happened so far this season will have zero impact on if Harden makes or misses that game winning shot in the playoffs. Or if D12 can grab that offensive rebound and get the putback. I know people want something to talk about but how about a little perspective?

Too early to bump this thread? My man uncle blazer was pretty adamant about Greg Monroe being better than Towns this year

Forgetting age, would anyone actually take Towns over Monroe, Lopez, and Gasol this year?
