Wtf kind of rule is this. College basketball live literally has their analysts pretending to reenact highlights.

I’d rather watch Chuck, Kenny, and crew talk about the games, and you know damn well they don’t watch a ton of college hoops. That said, they’re entertaining and show the highlights.

Every highlight is on the app. Cut the cord. Cable is for old people and idiots.

Remember when CBS would play one game at a time, and just have scores at the bottom? That shite infuriated me.

I'm glad they finally figured out how to run this first weekend and make it enjoyable.

Why not just have cable and the app if you can afford it?

My only change would be a channel that quadboxed all games at once. I hate having to set up a second tv in the living room every year

Well...that's about all they can fit in a 2-hour broadcast once they get finished talking about the Lakers.

Yeah that would be cool.

Usually people just like watching the ends anyway. The way they time slot the games is almost perfect at catching the last 5 or so minutes of every game.

It's convenient on the March Madness app.

I haven't used the app yet this year but last year they would alert you on your phone of an upset about to occur or a close game.

So that means tonight ESPN will only show 2 minutes of every Zion shot every 30 minutes.

The March Madness app has a stream called Fast Break where they do something like that. It's kind of like NFL Redzone or MLB Tonight where they just pop in and out of games and have a panel commenting.

Honestly unless they get beat or he scores 100 points.

I don't think you'll see much of their game.

ESPN's golf highlights are 18 Tiger Woods shots even if he's 10 strokes back. They're going Zion Overload. That's how ESPN works.

Actually, the highlights for our game are awful on the March Madness app. I think there was only 3 LSU highlights and they weren't even highlight type plays.

Not if they aren't allowed to show the highlights.

CBS pays a gigantic arse sum of money for rights to the tournament. They don't want people watching highlights on other channels, they want people watching CBS, so this is almost certainly something in the contract they wanted.
