Typical thug move. But you guys are also ignoring the intentional elbow to the face by an LSU player, which was also a thug move.

Folks, Iverson is not broke. The article does not really claim he is, nor does Iverson say so. He lives foolishly, has lots of bills, many of which he does not pay. He is irresponsible, but has millions and millions. There is no tragedy.
Yeah, it's all about the ESPN love. Certainly nothing to do with USC finishing in the top 5 last year and returning 18 starters, including Barkley, Woods, Lee from a team that was one fumble away against a BCS bowl team from an 11-1 season. Certainly can't also be because they got much stronger as the season wore on with half of their starters being underclassmen.

Yes, the hype is back. But like it or not, it's deserved. We'll see what happens.

Kiffin and Co. keep rollin'

Although only 15, on NSD ,Southern Cal managed to pull in a 4.07 star rating, the highest average by far, not to mention EEs. They are young and will be contention for a Nc this year. Don't bet on the sanctions keeping them down. They had a top 3 class last year, with no chance of a bowl and schollie sanctions ready to begin. If Kif and co can do that, and they can, expect the recruits to keep coming. That is the one thing that kept Bama down. SC will have two more top 10 classes before the schollie sanctions are up. Not to mention QB David Sills who committed at 13. Barring an injury plague (and Kiffin has held off on that), they will be in BCS bowl contention during each year of the schollie sanctions. When those are up, you may very well see one of the highest rated NSD classes in the past decade or more. Fight on brothers!
