meanwhile they tell us Texas can’t be counted as a quality win... Hell, we could include Mississippi State by these standards. Or how about we start saying Georgia Southern was a good win?

Texas is LSU’s 4th best win, Cincy is OSU’s 3rd best win, LSU clearly has a better resume. The Michigan State game was also at home meanwhile the Texas win was on the road

Texas is bowl eligible with 6 wins. Mich St is not with only 5. How can that be a quality win?

Who fricking cares. It's all for ratings, interest and click bait. If LSU wins out there in that is all that matters damn it. I hope we play Clemson then beat OSU then who in their right mind will try to diminish that? You guys are looking at this wrong.

You guys sure are melting hard over a ranking yeesh. It'll work itself out, but no need for name calling.

Btw I graduated college with honors, definitely not stupid. But go ahead with the unnecessary name calling

It’s bullshite we don’t get any credit for scheduling a top ducking 10 road matchup non conference

Even as bad as Texas has been since our game vs them, they still at the very least managed to scrounge up a winning record (6-5). So by this logic, LSU’s quality wins is every team that has a better record than 5-6, which is STILL more quality wins than the Buckeyes can claim.

Texas was coming off a Sugar Bowl trouncing of a very good Georgia team last year. They were highly confident and our game could with them could have sprung them to new heights, at least that’s how it was perceived.

They lost, and have lost momentum and on top of that half their defense.

The committee, or at least the ESPN talking heads who speak for them, is treating that game essentially the same as playing Florida Atlantic. Basically they’re saying you get no credit for scheduling that game.

Point taken guys.
