Not to make light of any of this, but every time they show a picture of Nicole all I can see is 1990s Vanilla Ice. They have the same facial structure. It's remarkable.

Part 4 has close up still photos of all the wounds on both victims around the 1 hr mark.

Just want to say that I think this is best 30 for 30 they have ever done.
I wouldn't compare it to any of the others. Its in a class of its own.

It's paints a complete picture of the deception that was oj Simpson.
Oj was a make believe character almost, above race, above it all

I've watched parts 1 and 2 so far, but so far I'm having a hard time understanding how the black community embraced the OJ verdict the way they did. Up to this point OJ has done all he could do to disassociate himself with that community and their civil rights plight.

Only seen 1 n 2. Thought oj dissociated with blacks, but the he was the platform to say the law is against blacks

I've only watched a few minutes of part 3. I watched one and two overnight.
From what I remember, the not guilty verdict was celebrated not because it was justice but because finally it was a public example of a black guy beating the system.
After the bronco chase public perception was that he's black again. Iirc.

Interesting tidbit.
There were 2 white broncos. One was OJs which was impounded with the blood and the one involved in the chase was ACs.
Never knew that but obviously makes sense.
The whole thing is just completely fricked. Doesn't seem like real life and is absolutely fascinating to follow.

I think it's pretty obvious how that is being set up. Rodney King got his arse beat...on video... and the cops walked. The Korean woman shot a black teen...on video...and she essentially walked. Not to mention the history of corruption by the LAPD, specifically against black people. Black drug dealers getting 20 years while a non-black murderer gets probation after killing a black girl...
OJ could have been a Klan member and blacks still would have celebrated his not guilty verdict. I could not understand why at the time (I was like 13) but it makes some sense now. I think most blacks today feel like he got away with murder and don't condone what he did, but at the time, in that era, "they" needed to feel like justice applied to them as well. The irony in all of this is that OJ is the worst representative for "them" in so many ways. This documentary has been remarkable.

The trailer was so true.... You are breaking the laws of God.... The world will know everything you've done one day.....
I had NO IDEA it was this deep

I think that is most of the story. IMO many blacks who celebrated OJ getting off might have pretended they thought he was innocent but what they really wanted was for white people to feel outraged by a terrible miscarriage of justice so the shoe would be on the other foot.
It is a pretty disgusting reaction in some ways but you can see it from people of all stripes when you push enough of their buttons - people say some wild shite if their sense of justice is wronged.

Not to take this thread off the rails, but this is exactly what I've been thinking for two reasons:
1) He's about as white of a man as you'll find and he's a terrible representative of the community.
2) He's guilty. In many ways it reminds me of the cases that BLM hitches their cart to as well. You have legitimate claims of police brutality and prejudice in the judicial system, but your going to use someone like Michael Brown as your example and that just isn't the way to get things done. Celebrating the OJ verdict sets your cause back. Who is willing to be sympathetic to someone who celebrates the release of a murderer? You're doing yourself no favors.
