Let’s call it what it is. How many two-time super bowl mvp’s aren’t in?

Agree that he will make it and that it's kind of a close call.

Here's what put's him in for me: two Super Bowls over the New England Patriots while being coached by Tom Coughlin.

Without Eli, Brady & Belichick are 8-1 in Super Bowls.

Edit to correct tha' facts.

Without a doubt. He always upped his game come playoff time. He was a winner. Yeah he may be .500 as a starter in the regular season..... but he balled in the playoffs. When you add in that he was a great leader and a team player (as seen by how he reacted when benched), he should be a shoe in. What other qb completes that throw to Tyree in the Super Bowl? Nobody.

No.

Two Super Bowl MVP’s and numbers that reflect a 16-year career as a starting qb. That’s it. He’s in, no doubt, case closed.

Of course. The two Super Bowl victories and MVPs gets him, deservedly, into the Hall.

His front office has done him no favors the past six or so years.

No he doesn't. How many championships does Rivers have?

He most likely makes it but I find it hard to justify since he wasn't even a top 5 qb in his era and many years he was outside the top 10

13 that are eligible. I have a hard time imagining Flacco, Foles, or Edelman being HoFers. Not sure about Santonio Holmes either.

ETA: Sorry, just noticed you specified two-time MVPs. But still, plenty of Super Bowl MVPs aren't in the HoF.

No and it’s very weird that on all the morning and afternoon talk shows they concede Eli will make the HOF but no one puts their name on voting for him.

He’s definitely going to get in. He shouldn’t though. Was never elite at his position

He won’t be a first ballot HOFer, but barring some scandals that comes out later, he will get in.
