So many uncharacteristic Miami turnovers. That’s what did them in tonight

We have 3 rounds of playoff games that basically only show Boston has 1 way to win.

Early line for Saturday night is Celtics favored by 3 at Fanduel and Draftkings.

Miami wins the next one at home

Perhaps we wrote the Celtics off too soon. This is a series. The Heat has to win this in 6, otherwise this is over.

That’s not true. They’ve cranked up the defensive intensity. Miami hasn’t broken 100 in the past two games. They averaged 120 the first three.

Boston has won 10 games this postseason.
They’ve only won 3 games where they’ve shot less than 40% from 3.

Idk if Boston pulls this off but I’m pretty confident that Smart will not have a game like that again. White too.

I’ve said this before, but they have the shot chart of the Harden Rockets.
It’s layups or 3s and no in-between.
When the 3s don’t fall, they don’t win.

That’s the case for a guy like Derrick White but not the whole team. The majority of Tatum/Brown points tonight were contested shots, layups, or dunks in the paint.
They made 17 shots and only 4 were threes.

You’re literally proving my point - it’s layups or 3s - just look at the shot charts.
Again, they are 3-8 in the postseason when they shoot below 40% from 3.
When they shoot 40%+, they are 7-0.

If you just take away what makes Boston good they’re not good. This is amazing

There is little to no ball movement dude. Almost every possession that they have to spend working the half court is a complete mess.
If they aren’t scoring in transition or turning teams over, their offense, particularly in the postseason has been absolute garbage.

I don’t disagree with their style of play but they’ve been very good in back to back seasons now. If I knew nothing about basketball and just read your take, I’d think Boston was a lottery team.
