ECU actually has very good team speed on offense... I could see this leading to an implosion by VT

there are 2 ways to look at this game. IF, and thats a big IF, VT is a good team that just lost its way, next week would be the absolute worst time to play them, ala OU squeaking by directional random midwest state and then blowing FSU's doors off. On the other hand, if they are just a bunch of over hyped VT thug u as usual, ECU is going to kick their teeth in as they implode on the sidelines.

I'm personally hoping for the latter, mostly because the wife is an UVA alum.

ECU's new air raid offense has been nasty this season. The Tech D was already replacing a lot of players and just lost their starting DT. Their defense hasn't exactly stopped the pass, but then again Tyrod Taylor hasn't exactly shown he can pass. I think the Chokies rebound and win the game, but 17.5 is a LOT of points. 27 21 Tech?

I dont understand this, ECU is averaging 50 points in their first 2 wins (against sub par competition but still) and tech's D hasnt been that impressive in their 2 losses. I dont think that the hookies will be able to slow down ECU's high powered offense and i know the pirates wont be able to slow down tech so we should be in for a shootout, but not a 17 point blow out.
