See this is why I am on his side. He doesn’t want to be a decoy. You’re paying him elite money because’s an elite talent - use him!

I think this is his last season there. He’s won a SB, now he wants to make his own legacy. I don’t blame him either. They have a top 5 OL, top 5 wr/te corps, top 3 rb room, and a borderline top 5 QB and their offense is your basic arse 70s style Big Ten bullshite with the signature play being a damn orgy pile on the field. Not saying you have to throw every trick from every corner of the playbook out there every week but damn the Coach suggestion box from Madden would call better plays than this nonsense they keep putting out.

AJ Brown isn’t blameless, but Hurts is quickly entering the (Dange)Russ Wilson territory of cheese ball and doesn’t throw him the ball to boot

He chose to sign with a team whose qb's biggest weakness is the forward pass. That's on him, and him alone

Why fix what isn't broken? The teams job is to win and they literally are the defending champs and favorites to repeat. The Eagles main concern is winning, not keeping AJ Browns ego happy.

Again, it's winning games. I'd rather my team have the Eagles offense and a disgruntled WR and win games over the Cowboys #1 offense with happy skill players and losing games.

Hurts is being Ultra Conservative this year. But they are still 8-2.

I am surprised that AJ Brown’s career as a tier one WR has lasted as long as it has. His skill set and build suggest a high peak more than sustainability.

Dumb take. Hurts can sling it. Brown has had three straight All-Pro seasons but last year their playcalling went even more run heavy and vanilla (granted Saquon was highly productive) last year and is just arse this year. The players aren’t the problem. The playcalling/gameplan is just bland. I’m not sure if it’s apathy or they are just coasting or what.

I don’t disagree with that from their perspective. I’m just saying I 100% understand Brown’s perspective. It’s not a one is clearly right and one is clearly wrong thing. The Eagles are 8-2. Their offense has also been very mediocre this year.

Philadelphia is 28th in team passing yards

28th out of 100 is pretty good.

Hold up, I'm being told there are 32 nfl teams. I need to do the math again.

They were 16th in 23 and 9th in 22. Their rank in yards has been higher than their rank in attempts since Hurts took over.

Hurts was 3rd in ypa in 2022, 4th in 2024, and is currently 10th this year even with this bland offense. Even in 2023, he was tied for like 11th.

Not sure why you are insistent that the players or in this case the player is the problem. Hurts will never be the 40+ passes a game air raid guy, but they are running a basic arse pee wee offense out here.

You somehow skipped last year, where they were 30th in passing. The passing game has regressed incredibly since picking up aj.

It's definitely playerS. I blame Hurts for sucking at the forward pass and AJ for not having the wherewithal to recognize that before signing.

You'd expect more out of someone who was briefly the highest paid qb in the league. Philadelphia has masterfully handled his skill set/deficiencies.

Chris Simms has said a bunch of times that they have about 15 plays.

They were 32nd in attempts and 29th in yards so I’m not sure what you are getting at considering they were 1st in rushing attempts and second in yards.

Well you’re an idiot and misguided but good for you I guess.

Yeah it’s not like he’s won two Conference Championships and a Super Bowl or anything.

If hurts was on the Bills we would be battling for 1st pick in the draft.

Even his coaches acknowledge his limitations, but

For pointing out exactly what his coaches know and game plan around

Yeah it’s not like he’s won two Conference Championships and a Super Bowl or anything.

That's a testament to the other 52 players.

No, I'm being dead arse serious. I'm not sure why you think someone pointing out the obvious shortcomings of jalen as a passing qb would be trolling. In fact, one could make a very strong argument you're the one trolling me.
