Disagree. I don’t think Nebraska football can compete for a natty. If Indiana hires the right coach, I don’t see why they couldn’t compete for a title.

In the world of Nil and transfers, any team can compete for natties. It may be easier to overhaul in basketball but my point still stands that they are both currently has beens.

I can’t disagree there. I just think of Nebraska as a has been and never will be again kinda team. You land a couple of big names in hoops and you can go all the way.

May doesn't want to coach at a Basketball school. He's fine being second fiddle to football

Nebraska football is an incredibly difficult job. Indiana just needs to make a good hire

I get why you take exception to the comparison and I know IU has the means to turn it around in fairly short order but they've "needed the right hire" for a while now.

I don't think any one is taking exception that point.

The point is that Nebraska sucks because convincing enough kids in major metropolitan areas to move to Lincoln is so much more difficult than Indiana basketball returning to prominence…hence, look at Kansas Nebraska football is an incredibly difficult job. Indiana just needs to make a good hire

What about Norman, OK? Ann Arbor, MI? South Bend, IN? State College, PA?

Nebraska’s still a big time program with money. It’s not like you’re going to South Dakota State, Oregon State or Utah State. They’ve got elite facilities and a great game environment.

Chris Beatd is the hire. He would win immediately at IU and have them a consistent Top 10 team and have tourney runs constantly.
