He’s your friend and you’ve never seen him intoxicated? He’s made several posts throughout the years about how he wants to get sober…
Lets be clear, he didnt call.me for bail or anything that close. I'm a casual friend thru mutual close friends. I'm at fundraisers, food events, etc etc from time to time, and other casual settings. At times, I've had the fortune to sit around with him and friends..maybe a lunch.
Outside of the ring, no, I've never seen him rage like this...I mean, has anyone

I hate to break it to you but you're an acquaintance at best.

So you’ve been at the same events as him and been at the same lunch once? Yeah, friend probably wasn’t the best word… I get the feeling that you tend to exaggerate things from time to time.

I passed by his house a few months ago and he was outside painting the front gate. Glad he didn’t beat me up. Could’ve been me.

I assume this is somehow worse than Richard Murphy driving unhinged, running red lights and killing someone?

Poirier is really lucky the initial cop tried to deescalate the entire time. That could have easily gone sideways quickly and put him into far more serious trouble had it been somebody hot headed.

cop should be fired for putting civilian women between him and the highly agitated pro fighter suspect
You're being downvoted, but I thought the same exact thing watching the video.

Nah bro the cop handled that the right way. He kept poirier attention and got him into an open area away from the women without making him feel cornered where he might attack. Perhaps he didn’t feel poirier was a threat to hurt the women as long as he kept his attention on him. Regardless he had weapons if the situation turned bad. Remember this was in the terminal so he knew he didn’t have any weapons besides his fists. How can you even second guess the cop you couldn’t ask for a better way for this to go. The cop saved his arse to be honest. For Dustin to leave that with only a public intoxication charge.

The end result wound up playing out well for everyone involved this time, but the idea of allowing vulnerable people between an active threat and an armed officer doesn't sit well with me. The only reason Dustin wound up in an area away from the women is because they wisely moved themselves the hell away from him.
