Not everybody can miss 18 shots at home in a Game 7 and then get their arse kissed for "FINDING A WAY TO WIN"

He pulled down 15 rebounds and scored 11 points in the 4th during crunch time. Every player on both teams shot like crap that game because the game was called physical. When was the last time Lebron scored in double digits in the 4th quarter of the finals?

Kobe is great, but you talk about Jordan not being able to do it without Pippen, but Kobe's first 3 rings he wasn't even the best player on his team. Shaq was the playoff's MVP each time. Kobe couldn't do crap when Shaq left. The lakers had to go spend a bunch of money and reload the roster with Gasaul and others so they could compete for championships again. Kobe is great, but not the greatest of all time. Durant is a monster, but needs to work on his defense some.

4th quarters are pointless only if it's Lebron

First tl;dr
Second, Kobe DID win multiple rings without Shaq to PROVE he was an alpha and just as important to winning those first three rings. Did you even watch those runs back then? It was Kobe that got them through the West. Shaq was toast against the Spurs in those days.

Third, Jordan never won without Pippen. He played in five seasons without him and had a losing record EVERY time. Pippen never had a losing record, he was the clog needed to win.

lulz, most overrated player in NBA History. Propped up and protected by the NBA only able to win after the Celtics and Lakers ended their runs. It took Kareem retiring, Worthy getting hurt, and Pippen guarding Magic for Jordan to win #1. If you breathed on Jordan he was going to the line while Pippen did all the dirty work.

Yep I watched everyone of those games. I remember Robert Horry hitting the 3 at the end of one of the game, D Fish hitting the shot against the spurs with .4 seconds on the clock, I watched it all. Yeah Kobe had a big part of those rings, but who was the MVP and what happened as soon as Shaq left? Kobe became a ball hog and they didn't do crap until they reloaded the team!

All he needs to do is get better on the defensive side of the ball.

Much easier to score than to pass and rebound. Durant can become a better rebounder but I don't think he can ever match Lebron's passing abilities.

Why does that matter, they made playoffs, it wasnt like they were the worst team in the league

So you remember 2 shots but fail to recall the full impact of Kobe going 30/7/7 through the West in those years? Numbers better than Durant, Jordan, but he wasn't an alpha? Who closed out the games when Shaq had to be benched in the 4th due to hack-a-Shaq?

After Shaq left, Kobe, Odom, and Butler were injured for extended parts of the season and the coach retired due to health issues mid way through the season. Those health issues have since been validated. Before all that, they were in the hunt for the playoffs. The following years Kobe had to lead this team:

Almost all those players on that team were YOUNGER than Bryant and now have been cut/retired from the NBA. He took this team to the playoffs twice in the stacked West taking the Suns to 7 games.

Most amazingly, Kobe got that team to the playoffs and had a 3-1 series advantage in the first round of playoffs against the Suns.

That was the worst team (player by player) to ever make the NBA playoffs.

Who was the third best player on that team at that time? Devean or Luke.
