Never mentioned Shaq. But for the sake of discussion, Kobe didn't run to Shaq to win a title. Most believe he ran him OFF to prove he was just a important to that team by winning titles as the lone alpha. I think he proved his point. People forget who it was carrying the Lakers through the vaunted West in those years.
