I mean that depends.
Depends on what state he was in. Different states have different age of consent.
Depends on if they have sex when he was a minor (idk since she may be super Mormon).
I mean it’s an odd story but there isn’t anything there that is for sure illegal.
If Mormons want to get married in the temple then they have to marry a card carrying Mormon. Now idk if he is one at this point. Don’t you need to do a LDS mission if you are a dude?

you can defer the mission if you are involved in Sports or military etc
Pretty common for LDS members to do a mission later in life once they have money etc
