I didn’t realize that automatic first downs are a college/NFL thing. Watching my high school team play, lots of defensive penalties are not automatic first downs.
I get defensive pass interferences, but holding and illegal hands to the face are silly automatic first downs IMO.

I feel like the NFL is the most poorly run out of the major sports leagues in the US. Football is just so popular in the US that it is inherently successful

Such retarded bullshite. I've said that a lot of the reasons for people to waver on the NFL have nothing to do with the SJW stuff. Referee problems and the questions of is it a catch or what are why.

NFL tv rules drive me up the wall. This is one reason I prefer college football Saturday, I am forced to watch only three games. It is maddening when I can’t watch two good teams play and have to watch some crap AFC

I agree their rules are archaic, but if you like the NFL and dont at least have Red Zone that's pretty much on you.
