Didn't get past 30 seconds, but I didn't see any throws that demonstrated arm strength. Looked like he was lofting the ball a lot intentionally.

Were the tougher throws later?

He has a fantastic long ball, combined with an overall, very quick release. I'm not sure about his touch passes and timing routes, but his long ball is fricking glorious. Even if he's lacking in other areas, you can build an offense around a guy who can throw accurate, 40-50+ yard passes.

Every single year we see guys like this, end up being average and hold back your franchise. Every single year.

I wouldn't draft him earlier that the 4th. He does seem to lack a certain killer instinct. Maybe the NFL will harden him and make him work if he's drawing 5th round rookie contract pay.

LOL

You don't see 10,ooo+ yards, 95 td's in 3 seasons as a starter, every year.

And he isn't doing it in the Big12

Touch passes are definitely an area needing improvement for Lock. The long ball is his strength. He also does seem to lack a killer instinct as another poster noted.

He is the next Matthew Stafford. I probably wouldn't use a first rounder on him, but would feel good about grabbing him at the top of the 3rd round.

Lock probably has the highest floor of anyone in the draft.

Yeah, the ball seems to almost accelerate halfway through its flight. And check the low trajectory on some of those longer passes.

He can also throw a good long ball over a rushing defender as he's backing up and fading to the left. That's impressive and very useful.

He's got this weird 3-quarter throwing motion that you see result in a lot of batted balls at the line and sailed passes under pressure.
