You right-wing science deniers' aversion to data is almost as hilarious as the libtard housewives driving the new polio epidemic.
You still beating that drum? Guess you missed the memo, that gig is up, you were wrong, we were right. Maybe you'll have better luck next time.

Following his wrestling career, Nowinski authored Head Games: Football's Concussion Crisis in 2006, which examined the long-term effects of head trauma among athletes, and also became a documentary. The Lancet said "the book sent shockwaves through the National Football League (NFL)" and details his career-ending injury and discusses the dangers of concussions in football and other contact sports; the book includes stories from National Football League (NFL) players and fellow wrestlers, and has an introduction written by former governor of Minnesota and professional wrestler, Jesse Ventura.
Later that year, Nowinski initiated an inquiry into the suicide of Andre Waters, a 44-year-old former NFL defensive back who shot himself on November 20, 2006. Waters had sustained several concussions over his career, and at Nowinski's behest, Waters' family agreed to send pieces of his brain to be tested. Bennet Omalu, a pathologist at the University of Pittsburgh announced that "the condition of Waters' brain tissue was what would be expected in an 85-year-old man, and there were characteristics of someone being in the early stages of Alzheimer's."

I love how he says he hates he was right
He loves that he was right
This is clicks and attention for him

If he didn’t treat Tua he knows jack shite about it just like the rest of us.
Nonsense. That’s like saying you can’t tell if someone is drunk at a bar unless you give them a breathalyzer.
Tua should not have been on the field.

Yep, I've never heard of this guy until 30 minutes ago but three tweets in it's obvious he is a poster child for everything wrong with social media and society in general.

What if Tua passed a concussion medical exam by an independent physician?

Says more about you. You can do a quick search in seconds about who someone is, but you got triggered over a few tweets like a true snowflake.

Shows how oblivious, unaware and dumb you truly are then, but that's not saying anything new to most posters on this site in regards to you

Yes, I do get triggered by overt stupidity. Which is rampant in this thread and on this board right now.

You are a moron.

That's not something you should be admitting.

Which he absolutely did in 2022 if he was playing in an nfl game.

Wait, your litmus test for intelligence is the awareness of the existence of Dr. Chris Nowinski?

Now that's a new one, someone getting triggered by themself

Only when you post

No, it's nearly every post you make that makes that litmus test quite clear of your intelligence level

Dude is getting clowned on all over the thread and keeps doubling down

You're right bro, the NFL should be charged with murder for a man who was never, ever in the remotest danger of dying.

Nowinski has been front and center with CTE now for at least 15 years (since the Chris Benoit thing happened). I find it hard to believe that a football fan hasn't heard of him until tonight but then again that's not something worth lying about.
Posted on 9/29/22 at 9:48 pm to MetroAtlantaGatorFan
I'll readily admit I tune out all the concussion talk because of the dramatics surrounding it (which are on full display right now). I also am not much of an NFL fan at all.
Interesting that Benoit is what motivated him to get involved and he probably has good intentions, however he is really making an arse of himself on Twitter and for most reasonable people that severely damages credibility.

That's not what motivated him. He was a WWE wrestler and had to retire because of concussions. Founded the Concussion Legacy Foundation and was basically one of the people who literally discovered CTE when he had the brain of former NFL player Andre Waters tested and the tissue resembled that of an 85 year old with Alzheimers.
