Is in Major League camp
Has moved up the system as “expected” from a prospect
Was a league All Star last year in AA
Had injury to cause him miss 2nd half last year
He’s starting today vs Boston in SS game

Would have last year if he hadn't gotten hurt.

Mets need the allure, and it is God's will that he homer in his first MLB at bat before taking on his next challenge of becoming an NBA All Star.

Can't wait for the all-time melt by stat geeks.

He will start this season in AAA so he’s only one step away. Honestly the dude has improved a lot coming up in the minors, interested to see how he does against better pitching.

Yes it will. There is a big difference between AA and AAA pitching. Much larger than the gap between A ball and AA.

If he makes it up it will be because the Mets season turned into a disaster. Nothing against him but that's just what it is.

I've watched him in some spring ABs. Has hit some solid balls just at people or saw one guy make a great diving catch to rob him of a double.

He's not a MLB pro player but from all accounts he's been a great teammate and the franchise loves him. What is he now? Almost 30?

Making the show and call up late are different IMO. A call up? Sure. Staying for months? That would confirm my Metsfandom

I have nothing against Tim Tebow. He was a great college quarterback, seems like a nice guy, and what he has done in AA is fairly impressive considering the layoff he has had from baseball, but he would get destroyed in the majors and I can't see him playing unless the Mets are out of it and it's a gimmick to draw interest.

Decent chance he turns into Mark Mcguire... He is engaged to Miss Universe. She will whip him into a ball player that can smash.
