Go watch his high school tapes and he’s hitting jumpers all over the court. I mean where did that go? Can one just forget how to shoot?

I hate this...that's wrong. Dude set records for Freshmen that likely won't be broken. He played for a horrible coach and everyone else was jealous of him.

He looked lackadaisical when he played for LSU - maybe that’s just how he runs or something but it did look like that even tho his stats showed different.

And my God are we not past any criticism is jealousy - I thought that was the 10 years ago excuse spread from parents of kindergartners that gradually infiltrated every aspect of life.

Watched him play in person at Auburn. He couldn't have cared less. He was just way more physically gifted than anyone else on the court so it didn't matter.

He's teammates with Seth freaking Curry. Obviously baby bro isn't as good as big bro, but he is still a 45% 3-point shooter.

I'm sure the Curry bros have some type of crazy regimen where they go off-grid during the summer and do nothing but jack up 1,000 3s a day. Ben needs to become best friends with Seth over the summer.

His inability to shoot at this point doesn’t speak very well to his mental makeup. Whether it’s due to fear, work ethic, or some other psychological weirdness, it’s a bad look. He’s clearly a coordinated enough guy to shoot far better than he does given that basketball is literally what he has devoted his professional life to.

No NBA player should ever average under 80% at the free throw line. It blows my mind how bad some of these guys are shooting free throws.

This is such a dumb statement to cast across every player in the NBA.

Some of these NBA players hands are so damn big it's like the equivalent of a normal sized person shooting a ball the size of a softball.

How about get a softball sized ball and see if you can hit 8/10 consistently.

Even more puzzling than his shooting is that he doesn’t score 20/game by simply attacking the rim more often and posting up guards.

Wings I agree w/you. Front-court and C's it shouldn't be a prerequisite IMO.
