I absolutely think Ohio State is getting in over TCU and Baylor. No doubt in my mind. OSU will bolster its resume greatly with a win over Wiscy.

My playoff is as follows:

Bama
Oregon
FSU
Ohio State

Watching the game, the difference was Ohio State skill players weren't making plays and Virginia Tech's WRs were catching everything that mattered. They were above 50% of 3rd downs. It made all the difference.

ok I change my statement.

The Ohio State University lost to Virginia Tech, who will probably finish below .500

they will not escape that

god, this board really caters to the 4 tOSU posters..

There's 5 Ohio State threads a week on the MSB.

There should be an OSU board on Tigerdroppings.

Ohio State this, Ohio State that...Moss this, Moss that.

I think this might be the self-loathing fan in me, but I definitely don't think Ohio State is in the driver's seat. I think TCU has to win out somewhat convincingly, while Ohio State has to struggle a bit. I think Baylor has a decent chance of making it if Ohio State has a hard time and they put up the points against Kansas State.

This being said, Ohio State will have their hands full with Wisconsin's rush game and defense. They have struggled tremendously against the run lately but have been "bend and not break." Also, Penn. State's D killed us in the second half of that game and made J.T. look like a freshman that does not understand where the ball should go. Wisconsin's D is better than PSU's so I'm just hoping Urban is dissecting that Oregon 2nd half game film.

Yeah man I know. He toughed through it, but that does not excuse how stagnant our offense was. I know you were watching the game so i know every time J.T. put the ball in the air in the second half you had to hold your breath. It was horrid, rookie mistakes. No way PSU was even in that game if J.T. did not throw 2 crucial interceptions when he panicked. That would have been a blow-out if we did not start the half with a pick six.

And also holy shite my bad for the whole Mich State/Wisconsin debacle I just performed.

Va Tech plays Wake Forest and Virginia. They will finish 7-5 or 6-6 and play in a bowl.

Also Oklahoma has a decent chance of losing to Oklahoma State. They would no longer be a top 25 team after that.

It seems like a lot of the board likes to discuss what is going on with Ohio State since they are prominently in the national conversation that affects their team (and they have the SEC record against them as a trump card). I wish there was a place for people to talk about things that do not pertain to LSU or the SEC specifically. But I know I want it about sports. The problem is I like the community of this place and they have pretty interesting opinions. What if they create a different board that discusses other teams, games that are interesting, and just in general more sports? I'm trying to think of a name for it, but I can't find the right words at the moment.

Additional Sports Board? Extra Sports Board? Increased Sports Board?

Man I feel like I'm close to thinking up something. Great idea though.

When you look at Ohio State you have to wonder how many teams they would be favored against on a neutral field, and I would say they would be favored against most. I really see them as the 5th best team right now, based on the eye test and a little bit based off resume.

Have we all forgotten that OSU plays in the big 10, which already proved this year to be one of the worst of the P5? Of course they have looked impressive against the competition they have played once the conference games started.

In all honesty the B1G is no better or worse than the ACC or Big 12..and not sure they are that far behind the PAC..Probably better than the SEC East.

I think the whole big ten is overrated thing is becoming a lame argument.....Mizzou the SEC East leader lost to Indiana at home.... So what does that say about the SEC?

As of last week according to Vegas they were apparently only a dog to Oregon and Bama, and a favorite over everyone else

According to Don Best, Ohio State would be .5 dog to Baylor, and a 3.5 dog to Alabama.

They would be favored over Oregon and pick'em with Florida State.
