Does Al Golden get another shot at HC?

He has the ND defense salty and was always known as a pretty great recruiter. He also was pretty decent at a dogs hit Temple program and was hired at Miami during the Shapiro/probation era and spent quite a few yrs in the NFL after that.
Does he get a mulligan for Miami?

Scandal or no scandal he was awful at Miami. Their defense was one of the worst I’ve ever seen

Some coaches are simply better coordinators than head coaches.

Jimbo has a Heisman trophy winner and a national title. I don’t think hes a bad HC. I just don’t think he was a good fit at A&M

Jimbo's problem is he still tryies to play offense like its 2005 and he hasn't had an elite QB since Jameis.

Maybe at a G5 or lower p5 school but he was fired from Miami for a reason.
He's a great DC at ND and was excellent at temple but I don't think he's going back to a major program to be a HC again

He looks so different now. Completely unrecognizable. But the metrosexual look is working out for that defense.

If I’m him I’d stay as a coordinator. 7 figures and actually gets to coach instead of politics. I don’t think he’d get a “golden” parachute head coaching job. As in huge buyout for firing him.
