LSU fans in complete denial about their feelings on it

I always see rationalizing people on this board hating Cam by saying it's butt hurt LSU fans. Maybe I am different than most LSU fans, but his time at Auburn just doesn't bother me all that much. We faced him just once, and he was a historic player that year. That LSU team was pretty lucky just to be 11-2 that season. So, I guess that loss hurt a chance at a national championship, but I don't have any animosity directed towards Cam because of it. I can see a player like Tebow having an influence on an LSU fan's opinion because he faced us 4 times. There were lots of times to cement animosity. It's just not the same with Cam.

However, I will readily admit that me being a Saints fan heavily influences my opinion of Cam.

I do notice on this and other NFL forums the hate is a bit more from Saints fans than other franchises. Why is that?

Not me.... It was a great run I a once in a lifetime season.... YET he has lost his passion as A TEAM player since his horrible choices in the SB.... That team is not close to the same as it is this year.....

What Cam did at Auburn against LSU doesn't bother me in the least. Stop claiming LSU fans "in denial", because you're making it up. The only thing that will trigger me as an LSU fan regarding an opposing player or team is 1/9.

Now, Auburn fans sticking by Cam and defending him with all that he's become is really confusing.

Sure. This board can’t wait to make and comment about threads on the guy. A new $cam thread just created. It’s weird all around

My dislike for cam has nothing to do with his college affiliation, I root for plenty of guys that produced against LSU.

Cam is just a douchebag on and off the field and he plays for a division rival.

You're on a Louisiana based message board so of course there's tons of crossover LSU/saints fan that hate him

Besides the fact he’s a division rival?

It was just answered above. I'm sure Falcons and Bucs fans don't like him either. Familiarity breeds contempt.

The division thing is just a small part of it, though. I actually like Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis, but I hate having to play them. So, my point is that I dislike him more than, for example, JJ Watt because of how often I see him. Both guys are great philanthropists that do some really douchy things, but my team plays the Panthers twice a year and the Texans once every four.

It has nothing to do with where he played college football. The guy is easy to hate. I'd feel the same way about him if he'd played college football at Eastern Michigan.

He’s the best college player of all time and one of the most exciting NFL players of all time when healthy, pretty fun guy to watch.

I'm drunk, but....

The money in sports is fricking insane.

This sentence

They would face an only $8 million cap hit

Blows my drunk mind.

In the real world, $8 million is a frick ton of money.

College-yes. At least he had the talent then to back up his antics.
