I'm hoping Ryu walks a batter to end the perfect then Hamilton comes up in the 9th with 2 outs and bunts to end the no hitter. Would be epic.

It's on MLB TV, or you can probably get it on strikeout.co

It has happened on consecutive days, but never in consecutive games.

As many baseball games that have been played there aren't many things that have never happened, so this could be a big moment.

I cannot find any evidence of a team throwing back-to-back no-hitters, but Johnny Vander Meer threw no-hitters in consecutive starts for the Reds in 1938.

Also:
quote:

No team has thrown no-hitters in consecutive games, although it has happened once on consecutive days: On May 5, 1917, Ernie Koob of the St. Louis Browns no-hit the Chicago White Sox, and teammate Bob Groom repeated the feat in the second game of a doubleheader the following day.

Damn. That long inning and Ryu having to bat and run the bases really ruined it.

Watching these Reds is as about as depressing as when my first girlfriend fricked my best friend.
