I think the NFL timed this Brady announcement on purpose to steal the headlines from College Football that starts tonight

Now the NFL and Brady will dominate the sports headlines through the next 2 days when college football is getting underway.

Roger definitely timed the headlines of looking like a big ole jackass once again for the sole attempt that headlines will be stolen even though he's the butt of the donkey.

Why does the NFL need to steal an inferior product's thunder?

CFB is a free farm system. Big ratings for their draft and marketable rookies. They want you watching college football. Why do you think we get 16 Thursday night games rather than 16 Saturday games

What does the NFL have to gain by undermining college football?

Not to mention this is a huge black eye for the league. If they controlled this, it wouldn't get out

Think about this for a second, do you think this will affect college football ratings?

Um, a thousand times this.

The NFL LOVES College Football and would prefer you watch that over anything else not NFL related. Dumb thread is dumb.

At least you seem to have decent knowledge in the betting threads, so you have that going for you.
