s point shaving, rigging? Yes or no?
I am fully aware that point shaving exists and has probably taken place in an NFL game at some level by a ref and/or player.
In no way do I believe there is a plan in place at the league level to fix games. The risk does not remotely justify the reward.

there was also a helmet to helmet on brees they did not call either. strabge as on that play he was picked off. all officials from cali and NFl new operations center in LA? new stadium in LA? do the math. BIG market team? a team that has lost NFL teams before.....raiders and rams?
but there was no agenda!

I think the ref purposely did not call PI so that the Rams could make the Super Bowl over the Saints in 2018...
yup. was also a personal foul also plus DPI all in one play. then they missed a HtH against brees later in game. had that been majomes flags woulda flew from all over.

No, I don’t think they do. It’s a multi billion dollar a year business. The only way to screw that up is to rig games. They’re smarter than that. I’m surprised how many people really believe they do rig games. It used to be only casual uninformed football fans who thought this

Which profits from big market teams advancing (LA>>>NO) and gimmicks (Brady going for his umpteenth title, winning with another team, Swifties watching games they never would have before). So there’s a lot of incentive for influencing games, especially when you mix in the explosion of sports gambling.

Wonder why that guy never replied to me

Without a doubt. I have been convinced of this for many years. I think it’s as fake as professional wrestling.

So you want me to prove a negative? The obvious explanation is Incompetence. At the outside, maybe the ref was on the take.
Again, Im not saying games cant/arent being fixed, but logistically, a league mandated outcome would be almost impossible to pull off without at least some type of credible leak surfacing by now.
But I'm willing to listen, so your turn. Roll out a plausible theory on how the league fixed the outcome.

The risk that a $300 billion entity would risk its entire existence for what? Different teams in the Super Bowl that would generate what? Tens of millions in increased revenue at best?
Gambling exists. Rogue individuals do rogue things. $300 billion companies do massively immoral things everyday to ensure they stay $300 billion companies. And this isnt a privately held organization or a publc one with oligarch controlling some yes men. Its 32 equal partners. It would be borderline impossible to pull off scripted games at the LEAGUE level.
