Do we think (new) OC Matt Patricia will be successful for New England in 2022?

The number of "no-chance" plays have been "notable" so far in #Patriots camp, via @MikeReiss

Bill Belichick has had former Defensive Coordinator Matt Patricia, calling plays for the offense and Mac Jones at camp.

Mac Jones had some moments of uncertainty a yr ago in training camp but not nearly as many as you would expect for a rook. This summer? Far more. Yes, it is early August. There's time. However, the install started back in the spring & you'd like more comfort & success. #Patriots

To clarify, this isn't all on Mac. Blocking has been poor (they haven't been able to run the ball a lick in camp) and last night, there were a number of times Mac had to hold because receivers weren't open. Not a wonderful combination...
The reviews from Patriots camp haven’t been good (this goes beyond the recent tweets posted above).

Limited talent on offense with a defensive minded coach (don’t try to convince me otherwise, Wildcat) running the offense.

I feel like, good or bad, NE coordinators don’t tend to get credit either way.

I wouldn't say Belichick is getting exposed but his career definitely has a very similar trajectory to Greg Popovich

How the hell can a Defensive Coordinator get a job as Offensive Coordinator when he has never worked on offensive side of ball? Bill is on one I guess
