who just leaves the starting job at Ohio state without being told to do so by the coaching staff? Bringing in guys and being told to look elsewhere is basically what happened.

Easily. I don't think I'd take anyone over Day right now. Maybe Meyer with Day going back to OC, but there isn't a significant upgrade I'd want leading our program until some of the Buckeyes coaching other programs take a step forward at a major program.

Ryan Day cannot beat Michigan, but it doesn't really matter anymore. OSU can win a natty and lose to Michigan now. Good for Day, really bad for college football. Please disregard 125 years of college football history, it is no longer applicable.
