Yes, but they also beat Wisconsin 59-0 in the conference championship game. They showed there was no real drop off once JT went out. FSU didn’t do that. They still got completely screwed though.

This is why you earn the right to play, and then you actually play the game between the teams that deserve to be there.

That game still showed there was a considerable drop off without Travis. They weren’t great at all in that game. I think the offense had like 250 total yards against a horrendous defense.

Irrelevant. You are an idiot. Are you saying Alabama's win over Auburn was impressive? South Florida?

lol it’s in the shite that they look at. I think FSU should’ve been in too, but if we’re going by best 4 teams they’re not one without Travis.

Exact same format so “muh 15 years ago” isn’t just incorrect it’s irrelevant.

They also lost to a .500 team while FSU is undefeated.

It's funny that it matters how FSU won but doesn't matter that Alabama escaped Arkansas and Auburn at all because reasons. FSU can't be 4 because of the injury to Travis, but they can be ranked ahead of Georgia and everyone else.

Best 4 teams is the criteria, except for the team that's lost once in three years because they lost yesterday.

And that was during Bama's better years.

This Bama team wouldn't beat Auburn or Arkansas with their 3rd string QB.

SOS:
#5 ALA
#11 WASH
#13 TEX
#33 MICH
#55 FSU

Are you saying FSU should be proud of going 13-0 against opponents with a combined record of 67-76? 27 of those 67 wins came from LSU, Clemson, and Louisville, so they went 10-0 against a remaining schedule that had a 40-66 record, which is only a 37.7% winning percentage for those 10 teams.

FSU's best claim is beating LSU (who we all know has NO defense this year), a mediocre 8-4 Clemson, and a 10-3 Louisville.

Alabama already beat 12-1 Georgia, 9-3 LSU, 10-2 Ole Miss, 8-4 Tennessee.

I hate to say it, but FSU's record doesn't hold up

But HOW you win matters according to the committee*

*unless you only escape Arkansas and Auburn, then it doesn't matter how you win.

It's the "best" 4, except when it comes to considering Georgia who is ranked below handicapped FSU for the sin of losing yesterday instead of in September.

When records are essentially equal (i.e. within 1 loss), they go with the conference champion. UGA is NOT the conference champion. The 5 teams ranked above them are. To be the best in your conference, you win your conference title. Simple process really.

When you make a comparison you should apply your standards equally instead of what you just did. Nobody can take you seriously when your bias is that overtly obvious.

Who you win against matters more than anything. Maybe FSU should get in a big boy league.
