Ole Miss wasn't in the CWS. This restriction was only in the CWS as Curiel's song wasn't banned in the regionals or supers either.
I agree it was because of a kanye song, i'm just not sure why you are using Ole Miss to make your point.

Well forget ole miss, Louisville player used "Lord Send Revival" in Omaha.
Also Jacob Morrison from Coastal Carolina reportedly confirmed it was all Kanye songs. The false persecution narrative is still going strong though.

No that part is probably wrong but the overall story still is there and it's not right wing clickbait. It's still a pretty ridiculous exchange that deserves ridicule.

Sure but theres a pretty big difference between ESPN corporation telling her to apologize for it behind the scenes and her rephrasing it because her shitty coworker didnt react well to it on air.

Did you not read the OP? It says she was reportedly told she had to retract and apologize for her comment by producers. Pam Ward is on air not a producer and didnt tell her to apologize. She was silent.
