What team would you rather have? The Pelicans team in 2017-18 or the current Lakers team?

For reference here is the 2017-18 roster.

The myth is AD had no help in Nola. The fact is AD had a ton of help, but he never took over games when it mattered.

17-18 Pels won 48, which is 8-10 more than I expect the Lakers to win next season.

Idk why this is hard for people to understand after looking at the reality of that team. I understand Lebron is Lebron, but we have watched AD with a damn good player in Jrue Holiday and a good surrounding crew and he got no where. Now he has less talent around him

Pels had talent. I am not a fan of Gentry. Would much rather have had Monty coaching that team.

That Boogie injury ended the AD era. If he doesnt tear his Achilles he resigns and AD probably stays.

I still think that with Boogie the Pels could've taken one or two more games off of the Warriors.

Because AD isnt that guy. He wants to fill up the stat sheet and call it a day.

Maybe so, but I thought there were times when the Pels were better with Mirotic. But from a matchup standpoint I agree that Boogie would have made the Pels better matched.

Rondo - Rondo
Jrue - Danny Green
Mitotic - Lebron
Randle - Kuzma
AD - AD

Rondo was younger in Nola so prob better on that team.

Jrue > Danny Green

Randle > Kuzma ( even though defense)

AD = AD ( call this a draw )

Obviously Lebron > Mirotic ( but Niko can shoot very well)

Throw in that Pels had Moore, Jackson, Ian Clark off the bench they def had a better team....

So you think the current Lakers team is better than the 2017-18 Pelicans team? Explain.

Where will the Lakers be stronger? Okay they have Lebron but what else? There are two players on the Lakers roster who was on the 2017-18 Pelicans team.. AD & Rondo. Rondo became a factor towards the end of the year and this year will be entering his 13th year.

Would you rather Kuzma or Cousins?

Will the Lakers have more depth than the 2017-18 Pelicans?
