Exactly.

It's basically just acting like you're better than ALL the other players who've done it ahead of you. And by better, i don't mean anything to do with being a better football player.

And it's not like they're doing some crazy hazing thing at all. I actually think they should take him to the goalpost and leave him there for a few hours for his antics here.

When Roy Williams stops playing football like a rookie then someone will carry his shoulder pads

Every person that has said that has completely missed the point.

Oh I am sure it will escalate once other veterans hear about a rookie refusing to do something. Sure someone else will make him pay for dinner, sing his school fight song, or tie him.
That should be enough to set Dez off and then we should see him go ghetto.

As a Cowboys hater and R. Williams 2009 fantasy owner, good for Dez. Since he'll most likely make more catches and gain more yards than Roy, I don't blame him.

That literally has NOTHING to do with the situation.

I really wonder if all of the people defending Dez have ever been in a team environment.

I really don't think guys like Romo and Austin really care much. They wouldnt mind some actual help on offense. The question is why is Roy Williams telling the public about him wanting to haze Bryant. Williams, of all people, should be focused on getting better. He's been ferocious since he's been at Dallas.

Kind of does. Dez is supposed to pay his dues to a guy that hasn't paid his on the field in Dallas?

I disagree.

Dez has been here a couple of days and is already causing a stir. Not shocking at all.

So, if Austin wanted Dez to carry his pads, it'd be ok?

That has nothing to do with the situation. EVERY player goes through it there rookie year. Don't try to think you're above ALL of these other guys. Especially over something so trivial.

These things are pretty minor but it is a way of building team unity and what not. Dez is not helping out at all in that department.
