I don't think the Lions would have gotten by Philadelphia anyway who is a much more complete overall team. The Lions just had too many defensive injuries.

Lots of low IQ posts on page 1.
Lions had the best offense in the league by a mile and Goff had his best metrics of his career.
Lions offense put up 31 points.
The reason they lost the game is because their defense only stopped the Redskins one time.
Part of that was due to injuries, but mostly due to #5.

They have $68 million in cap space and get Hutchinson and a boatload of other defensive players back. They’ll be fine.
