Nevermind. I know exactly who you are now. I had my years mixed up. I used to come to your house and play WCW vs NWO when you lived a street over from me.

I would really like to see DS throw downfield more often, but don't see this staff changing what they do.

Nope. They're always going to be a run first offense under Dru

He may have taken that program as far as he is capable of taking them.

They should be a run first offense, especially with Kaleb. The loss of Bracey hurt them alot more than expected I think. They knew it was a key loss, but Bracey was able to keep pounding the defense with Kaleb, and that would wear the defense down alot faster.

They don't need to throw deep bombs, but the quick hitches and outs would work well. They tired that tonight, but had a few drops and some over-throws.

Nah. He can stay as long as he wants. We rarely sniffed a winning season in my day. The stuff he's done with the program is going to pay dividends in the years to come

The only reason he leaves DS is to leave for a big time high school job (West Monroe, etc.). The main thing he has that our coaching staff never had was community support. The community is so much more behind the program now. He is getting the athletes to come out for the team (which our teams were never able to do), and he utilizes the athletes. Dru is here as long as he wants.

Damian Williams is legit and he was playing on one leg. That ref though was pretty crappy and called terrile holding calls and that unsportmanlike conduct on rummel when it should have been on denham.

Well he missed the really good holding calls then. It was a good call on the unsportsmanlike.

Scooby and Gunslinger, I'll go with what you say. You know the program better than I do. Just thought throwing it downfield a bit more might stop the opponent from having 9 up close.

Well last year they had a big, fast receiver, and would just send him on a go route and lob it up to him. That would keep defenses somewhat honest.

This year, they have a downgrade at QB and no real deep threat.

Im talking about the one when the denham springs player pushes the rummel defender when they were out of bounds and the ref calls the foul on rummel
