This is about his employer hating America and freedom which is no surprise.
FFS, stop with the manufactured rage and do some homework . CU does license and sell apparel with the flag. Refusing to participate in this specific event doesn’t mean anything other than the university not giving this yahoo permission to print t-shirts.
And not to be a stickler but technically the flag should be worn as a patch on the upper sleeve or breast pocket. Rocking your old glory wife beater to the TT game doesn’t make you some kind of super patriot.

CU is located in Communist Boulder. Not surprised. We should build a wall around that city.

CSU fans say the C in CU stands for California, Chinese and Communis
Well that’s a dumb thing for them to say given the ‘C’ in CSU and CU is for the same thing.

Good Lord. That sounds ridiculous and trying to squeeze out as many merchandise dollars as you can out of your fan base.
What was that place on highland right across from chimes? The place that sold LSU merch…they did the exact same thing for years.
ETA: Tiger District.

I can understand Colorado's policy for branding reasons.

Manufactured outrage of CU not agreeing to share its licensing with another school for a local vendor to sell his theme-of-the-week shirts? I do not care.
CU would have let him make the shirts if they didn’t have the American flag, according to the guy
