Yeah, i follow it every year, a local handicapper, who i get his picks, always enters it. He finished 12th last year, sitting in 200+ right now.

Okay what the hell does “ratio’d” mean?

I don’t use twitter and I haven’t been on Deadspin in 5 years.

Ratio of replies greatly outweighing the number of retweets.

Usually someone posts something insanely wrong or stupid that they can’t find any audience to atleast back him up

Well that seems like a silly metric. What if only like 15-20 people are engaging in a long conversation/debate in the comments and they and a few dozen others did like it/retweet it?

Seems stupid to me, but then again, Twitter is for low IQs though so

I think it's based on the premise that it's much easier to like a post than to comment on it.

If a post has almost no likes but a ton of comments odds are it's everyone making fun of it.

It’s not like if it’s one comment more than the retweet than it’s considered a ratio

Usually it’s a MASSIVE difference between the two because the tweet is so dumb or so wrong or the person has tripled down on it.

If I tweet “Halloween Candy is good”

-400 comments, 300 retweets

That’s not a ratio

But if I tweet “we shouldn’t force our kids to eat terrible sugar filled candy for Halloween. We should only give out healthy alternatives and you’re a bad person if you give candy to kids on Halloween”

-8,000 comments, 12 retweets

THATS a ratio.

Shouldn’t likes matter more than retweets? Retweeting something doesn’t mean I agree/approve of something. I could retweet the stupidity of someone else to make fun of it on my own twitter feed?

Then again, likes on a social media platform are dumb anyways. Then again Twitter is the stupidest of all social media platforms so there we go.

FWIW, I use Snapchat daily and have a token presence on Instagram.

You’re getting way into the weeds on this man. Likes don’t mean much on twitter. I use likes to go back at watch/read it later mostly, doesn’t mean I agree with what it is.

Point is if it is a HUGE gap then it’s pretty clear what happened and again it’s usually and obviously bad point or dumb thing to say

What a baby back bitch. Apologized for taking a job?

Why are people so good scared to tell others to GFY? Time and time again we have CFA, Chris Pratt, the Gaines, Ellen, and Duck Dynasty give the mob the finger and they come out the other side just fine.

Meh, without reading through the tweets, you don’t really know what’s going on there, but again, this is peak millennial stupidity so I’m not surprised.
