There were 2 hoaxes here, Tuiasosopo's followed by Te`o's
Tuiasosopo creates Lennay and flirts with Te`o online
they plan to meet but Lennay never shows up, he never met her
their was no relationship at all
Why did he not visit her in the hospital? Because he didn't even know her
Tuisosopo finally kills her off because Te`o keeps wanting to meet her
Now Te`o's hoax starts, he completely exaggerates the relationship between himself and this person he never met
Calls her his girlfriend, how do we know this? he said it
He admits to lying to his father, he admits to "tailoring" facts
he said he "catered" his stories so people would think he met her before she passed away, the romance wasn't escalated till after she died, by Te`o
The romance was completely Te`o, everything after September was completely Te`o, he lied to everyone, there was no danger of this girl saying, "hey wait, I'm not his girlfriend, I never met him", because she was dead
Sopo created Tennay, but Te'o created the romance

WTF. By my account, one of the DM's was around 264 characters...how is that even possible. I just tried sending one to some that was that long and it obviously said error and wouldn't send
