If it was a free-for-all interview, I think he would 'dupe' Te'o into admitting he fricked up, if the WWL really wanted him to.

I'm surprised Yahoo hasn't been more aggressive like Deadspin to uncover this story.
They did work with the Miami fiasco and have quality reporters, I don't see why they don't go after him.
Clearly ESPN, SI, NYT, AP, etc would rather play it safe and keep his image squeaky clean than go into hunter mode

Someone just said above it's the perfect storm and it is. CSB and I'm no PR whiz, but I took a few classes at LSU and I know the basic gist of crisis management.
Look at the Lance Armstrong story. That shite was full-steam ahead Monday, the Te'o happened, along with a three-day layoff mistake until the actual airing, and now Lance gets buried in the news cycle.
The media is already sick of burying NFL and other stories, so I can see this dying. I hope not for the sake of this thug POS, however
