there is no "context" in the quotes. there is only one way to read them.

I dont think that it was ever directly stated the Dad met her. I know that there were implications from Manti to his dad that he met her. Only one more reason why I believe Manti was in on it.

I don't see how the chick in the pic didn't hear about her face on tv. Someone who knew her must have seen her pic identifying her as Lennay. Maybe she was the voice on the line?

Im not arguing anything. I am simply saying that the quotes are clear, Manti implied to his dad that they had met. Which is the main reason I think he was in on it.

thats how it comes off in his interviews
seems like the story got out of control and they did a shitty job stopping it from snow balling.
