I saw that he was giving away tickets. To me if you can drop everything this late and book a plane ticket then you do well enough to just buy one.

who would have thought we would have our ace Justin Verlander on the mound with Brian McCann behind the plate to catch him in the WS?

I can name one person who definitely did not believe it... but I won't because he is a community leader.

But his name rhymes with Liger Wino.

Ok, I never imagined we'd have access to Verlander either.

Dude, I'm already in the air... 2 hours to touchdown at LAX. First Bloody Mary is complete.

If the Astros are up 5-2 in the 8th and Verlander is at 110 pitches, do you bring in McCullers even though he’s supposed to start game 7?

I think you play to win tonight if you’re in that position. Agree?

Verlander for another inning, then Peacock for a 3-out save.

Went to my first game when they were the 45’s. Then to the Dome when it opened in the mid 60’s. The first all star game in 68. Willie Mays was the mvp. Always went to the St. Louis series in May. My whole family were Cards fans except me. Easy to hate em. Nickel beer nights when I was 16. In 86 went to a few games and one Sunday game against the Dodgers we come back in the ninth to be em, and the crowd exiting the game were chanting bring on the Mets. Went to the second playoff game against the Mets. Nolan got beat even though he pitched a pretty good game. I’m trying to remember the announcer before Milo I used to listen to on the radio back in the day. One of his quotes was when a player tried to steal a base against the Stros and got thrown out. He would say he was so far out he doesn’t need to come up his next at bat. Great times and are getting greater. Lot of friends that I grew up with who were big Stros fans that aren’t here now, passed. This Stros for you.

Morton/peacock/DK game 7

LMJ wants the ball. I don’t think anyone else in the pen has that dick swagger right now.

He was in game 5 but he has had a day off now and didn't throw close to as many pitches in game 5. He may be fine now.

You think?

He seemed gassed in game 5, but he had pitched 3.2 innings and over 50 pitches in game 3.

Give him a day of rest yesterday, and only ask for 3 outs... but if he's not looking good, McCullers is probably your guy.
