Don’t expect anything until after the first 20 games. They have to see if Yankees and Red Sox will need expanded play offs.

Just announced its expanding to 16 teams. First round is a best of 3 series.

So the expanded playoff format is the top 2 teams from each division plus a final 2 teams based on record. So barring a disastrous 60 games where we end up in 3rd place with the 9th best record in the AL, the playoffs should be a lock already.

Chapman just gained a fan. He didn't take the obvious bait in his interview. Repeatedly saying everybody knows how good the Astros are.

Pretty trashy of Ravech to try to bait him into that when what Chapman said was very clearly not a shot at the Astros.
