It may open the door for the Astros games to be available in market on MLB.TV, though, for those of us in the blackout zone who may not get AT&T SportsNet or whatever channel on Houston-area cable ends up with the games.
Supposedly, the Astros/MLB would get the rights from AT&T SportsNet and package them however they wish. And MLB.TV supposedly would carry the games without a blackout.
Lots of “supposedlys.” Hope it doesn’t eventually hurt the payroll because the Astros are gonna be out some annual RSN money that has been lucrative for most MLB teams.

AT&T SportsNet is quite literally the only reason that I still have DirecTV. Spectrum just finished high speed internet installation in my area, so I’m itching to dump that $160/month for one TV bill that DirecTV shoves at me every month.

I’m a longtime DirecTV customer since ‘94
When AT&T bought them, they offered unlimited data on 5 devices, and I have a wife and 2 kids that use data 20 hours a day. LOL
But if I can’t catch Astros games, shite will get real

Altuve is still 0fer the spring. 0 for 11 with 6 strikeouts. I normally wouldn't give much of a shite about spring at bats but he's picking up where he left off in the playoffs
