If the Astros want to extend Tucker through age-35 — that’s what GM Dana Brown’s former team in Atlanta did with both Olson and Austin Riley — it would mean buying out six free-agent years. Add that to the arbitration estimate and you get nine years and $211 million.

This would be a no-brainer in my opinion, but I bet Ted wants more (like 10/$300M range) and ownership wants less (like 6/$150M range) so he's still destined for unrestricted free agency.

Do we have a site pegged yet to stream games this season? I guess MLB66 bit the dust.

Giving up a game tying grand slam in the 9th to your own son?

It's been a while but thankfully I can finally say this:

Tuck just got Garcia for a long ball in the classic. He's 3-3 with a single, double and HR.

Here's hoping he comes out of the gate hot this year. He's a career .200 hitter in March/April

Son of a frick. Altuve just took a ball to the hand. Immediately left the field with trainer holding his arm. Straight into to the tunnel.

Looks like it was more top of the hand. Not sure if that's better or worse.

Yeah it was hand. Thought it was wrist before I saw replay. Sky is falling is what we do here but I'm afraid it's worst case. It wasn't a glancing blow. The ball hit his hand and went straight up into the air. So his hand took all that energy.

We'll see if it's top hand or fingers. The latter would be mo bettah for sure.

LINK

Here's video. The ball hit his bat after his hand which was what popped the ball upward so hopefully his hand didn't absorb the whole impact but shite man. He immediately walks off the field and to the tunnel. They didn't test anything, didn't give him time to feel it out. Just immediately left holding his arm.

I'm hoping he left immediately in shock knowing that, as much as it matters, the game is still a bullshite exhibition so he wanted to deal with the shock and get it checked out.

I’m willing to stay optimistic. Even if it’s not a bad break it had to hurt like a bitch so the reaction is gonna look bad. Either way, at least it’s mid March

I’ve cooled off from when I first saw it and thought “fml, at least we have 2022”

Nope. Don't like that. He went straight in for x-rays. Somebody could tell us if they're negative.

Yeah it’s either a broken finger and 6+ weeks or a contusion and he’s back in 2-3
